Islamabad (HRNW) — Jail authorities have completed arrangements to transfer Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan to a hospital.
According to jail sources, Imran Khan will be shifted to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad once the written orders of the Supreme Court are received.
The sources said that the PTI founder has also been informed about the court’s decision.
The Supreme Court has directed that Imran Khan be transferred to the private hospital today, and ordered that he remain there until the next hearing.
The court has adjourned further proceedings until September 16, meaning Imran Khan is expected to remain at Shifa International Hospital for approximately one month under the court’s current order.
