Sanaa (HRNW)- Yemen’s Houthi group has claimed responsibility for a drone attack targeting a Saudi Aramco oil refinery in Jazan, on Saudi Arabia’s southern Red Sea coast.
According to the Houthi-affiliated Saba news agency, several drones targeted the Aramco refinery on Tuesday. The agency, citing a military source, said the attack was carried out in response to what the Houthis described as violations of Yemeni airspace in Saada and Hajjah provinces.
The reported attack comes amid heightened regional tensions and an increase in Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia.
There were no immediate confirmed reports regarding casualties or the extent of material damage. Saudi authorities had not issued a detailed statement on the reported attack at the time of publication.
