UN Reaffirms Protection of Humanitarian Workers and Aid Operations

New York, United States (HRNW)- On 30–31 May 2026, the United Nations reiterated that humanitarian workers, aid facilities, and relief supplies must be protected in all conflict zones.

The organization expressed concern over attacks affecting humanitarian infrastructure and stressed that international humanitarian law prohibits targeting civilians and aid operations. UN agencies called on all parties to respect humanitarian principles and ensure the safe delivery of assistance to vulnerable populations.
