UNESCO Calls for Greater Investment in Education and Digital Inclusion

Paris (HRNW) – On 6 July 2026, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) called for increased global investment in quality education, digital literacy, and equal access to technology as key drivers of sustainable development.

UNESCO highlighted that strengthening education systems and expanding digital skills are essential for preparing young people for future labour markets while reducing inequalities and promoting inclusive economic growth.

The Organization encouraged governments, educational institutions, and international partners to strengthen collaboration and invest in innovative learning systems that leave no one behind.
