Iran Responds to Trump’s Threat, Says ‘Come, We Are Waiting for You’

Tehran (HRNW)- Iran has responded sharply to US President Donald Trump’s reported threat to attack the country’s key oil export hub on Kharg Island, declaring that it is fully prepared for any military action.

According to media reports, following recent US strikes on Iran, Tehran targeted US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait and announced that it is prepared for any further escalation in tensions.

Responding to President Trump’s remarks, Iranian Parliament National Security Commission spokesperson Ebrahim Rezaei rejected the US threat with a firm message, saying, “Come, we are waiting for you. We are ready to counter any possible military action against Kharg Island.”

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that aggressive rhetoric would never undermine the dignity or resilience of the Iranian nation.

Tensions between Iran and the United States have intensified following new US strikes and mutual accusations. President Trump has defended the US military action, saying the strikes were carried out in response to Iran’s alleged targeting of commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
