Karachi (HRNW): As the Karachi Bar Association elections scheduled for 11 July approach, Advocate Imran Aziz, a strong contender for the position of General Secretary, has presented his election manifesto before the legal community, focusing on resolving individual and collective issues of lawyers and strengthening support services for the bar members.
Advocate Imran Aziz is recognized among sections of the legal community for emphasizing practical efforts over verbal commitments. His supporters highlight that he has remained actively engaged in addressing lawyers’ concerns and providing assistance rather than limiting himself to speeches and promises.
While presenting his manifesto, Advocate Imran Aziz stated that he would remain available 24 hours for every lawyer and would continue working for the welfare of the legal fraternity, improvement of facilities, and resolution of professional challenges faced by advocates.
He said that during his tenure as Joint Secretary of the Karachi Bar Association, he made efforts to serve lawyers and did not disappoint the legal community. He added that, if elected as General Secretary, he would continue serving lawyers with the same dedication and commitment.
Members of the legal community note that office bearers of bar associations play an important role in protecting lawyers’ rights, improving facilities, strengthening professional support systems, and addressing issues faced by advocates.
The Karachi Bar Association elections will provide lawyers an opportunity to choose their future leadership, with candidates seeking support on the basis of their manifestos, past performance, and commitment to the legal fraternity.
