Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Claim Missile and Drone Strikes on US Military Sites in Bahrain and Kuwait

Tehran (HRNW)- Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that its naval and air forces carried out a joint military operation targeting 85 locations, including US military installations in Bahrain and Kuwait, using missiles and drones.

According to a statement issued by the IRGC, the reported targets included the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.

The Iranian military said the operation was launched in response to what it described as the United States’ violation of the ceasefire and the Islamabad Agreement.

Iran further claimed that the United States had conducted airstrikes earlier the same day on coastal and non-military sites in Hormozgan Province and Mahshahr, prompting what it described as a retaliatory response.

At the time of reporting, US authorities had not officially responded to the Iranian claims, and the reported attacks and their impact had not been independently verified.
