KARACHI (HRNW) Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Karachi Division Senior Vice President and Chairman of TMC Saddar Town, Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh, has said that the politically aware people of Saddar Town placed their trust in PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s vision and the party’s people-centric politics by electing its representatives.
He said serving the public, addressing their problems and ensuring the provision of basic civic facilities at their doorstep remained the foremost responsibility and priority of the PTI-led local government in Saddar Town.
Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh said the pace of development work in Saddar Town had been accelerated and, following the approval of the budget, work on several development schemes would be further intensified. He said the projects aimed to improve roads, streets, drainage, sanitation, street lighting, parks and other municipal facilities, adding that the objective was to transform Saddar Town into a model and well-developed municipality offering quality civic services to its residents.
The PTI leader said those who had betrayed the public mandate by placing personal interests above the sanctity of the people’s vote had already been rejected by the electorate. He maintained that politicians who had abandoned the public mandate had lost their credibility and no longer enjoyed the confidence of the people.
Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh said the people of Saddar Town continued to stand by Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and were fully supporting the party’s efforts to serve the public. He added that PTI’s elected local government representatives were working around the clock to resolve civic issues and ensure the town’s development.
Reaffirming his commitment, Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh said the mission of developing Saddar Town, promoting transparent governance and improving public welfare would be pursued with greater speed. He said all available resources would be utilised for the betterment of residents and the overall prosperity of Saddar Town.
