Karachi (HRNW)- Gold prices continued their downward trend for the fourth consecutive day in both the international and local bullion markets.
According to market data, the price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market declined by $47 to $4,078 on Wednesday. Following the global trend, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan’s local bullion markets fell by Rs4,700 to Rs430,236 on the third business day of the week.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold in the local market decreased by Rs4,029, bringing it down to Rs368,858.
Silver prices also witnessed a decline. The price of silver per ounce in the international market fell by $1.38 to $59.42. Consequently, the price of silver per tola in the local market dropped by Rs138 to Rs6,421, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs119 to Rs5,504.
