Ankara (HRNW) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Turkey is ready to provide every possible assistance to support a potential agreement with Iran and help maintain regional stability.
According to media reports, President Erdogan said he has assured cooperation during discussions with US President Donald Trump and other regional leaders.
He stated that ensuring free passage through the Strait of Hormuz is essential for regional peace and global economic stability, adding that such an agreement would help stabilize international energy markets and provide relief to the global economy.
The Turkish president further said that Turkey is prepared to play an active role in implementing any future agreement aimed at reducing tensions in the region.
Reports also stated that Pakistan’s Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has held teleconference discussions with the United States, Gulf countries, and regional leaders regarding the evolving situation in Iran.
