Security Forces Kill 19 Militants in Balochistan Operation; 11 Soldiers Martyred, Officials Say

Quetta (HRNW)- According to Pakistani security sources, 19 suspected militants were killed during an intelligence-based operation carried out by security forces on the N-25 highway between Jhaw Cross and Kararo in Balochistan, while 11 security personnel were killed during the operation.

Security sources said the operation was launched on the basis of credible intelligence after armed militants were allegedly blocking the highway and extorting money from passengers and local residents.

According to the officials, security forces responded promptly, killing 19 suspected militants and injuring several others during the exchange. The sources added that 11 members of the security forces were killed while carrying out the operation.

Security officials stated that the operation reflects the commitment of the armed forces to protect the lives and property of citizens, ensure the security of national highways, and maintain peace in Balochistan.
