Iran Clarifies Readiness for Islamabad Talks, Denies US Media Claims

Islamabad/Tehran (HRNW) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has said that Iran has never refused to go to Islamabad for talks and appreciates Pakistan’s efforts for a ceasefire.

Abbas Araqchi denied US media reports, saying that the Washington Post had misrepresented news regarding the ceasefire and talks.

The US newspaper claimed that Iran had refused to meet US officials in Islamabad and was not ready to meet in the coming days, while US demands were unacceptable to Iran.

Expressing his love for the Pakistani people on social media, the Iranian Foreign Minister clarified that going to Islamabad for talks was always open for Iran.
