KARACHI (HRNW): Afaq Ahmed, Chairman of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement (Pakistan), has formally called upon the Chairman of the Intermediate Board and the Education Minister to ensure flawless arrangements for the upcoming Intermediate examinations. Highlighting the critical nature of these exams for students’ futures, he emphasized that this period is a turning point in their careers and requires the provision of all necessary facilities and a peaceful environment.
Ahmed issued a stern warning, stating that his party would not remain silent if the future of students was jeopardized by any negligence or mismanagement from the government or the Board. Reflecting on recent Matriculation exams, he criticized the presence and frequent movement of male officers and police personnel at female examination centers, noting that it caused significant mental distress and discomfort for female students.
For the Intermediate exams, the Chairman demanded that the government strictly ensure no male officer or policeman enters female examination centers. He suggested that if inspections or official visits are necessary, only female officers should be deployed for the task. Furthermore, Afaq Ahmed directed his party workers to be present near examination centers to provide every possible assistance and facility to both students and their parents.
