Jerusalem (HRNW)- Israeli intelligence agencies have reportedly declined to confirm Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claim that Iran’s nuclear program has been completely destroyed.
According to media reports, following similar statements by US President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu has asserted that Iran’s nuclear program was fully eliminated. However, Israeli intelligence officials have reportedly refused to endorse those claims, citing a lack of conclusive evidence.
The reported disagreement emerged after the end of the 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran in June 2025. According to the reports, Netanyahu’s office urged military and security officials to confirm that Iran’s nuclear facilities had been completely destroyed.
An Israeli newspaper quoted an unnamed Israeli official as saying, “There is one small problem with this claim—it is not true,” adding that an accurate assessment of the extent of the damage is not yet available.
The reports suggest that Israeli intelligence agencies believe further evaluation is required before any definitive conclusions can be made regarding the condition of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
