Karachi (HRNW)- After five trading sessions, prices in the global and local gold markets increased significantly today.
The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market recorded an increase of $91 on Thursday, as a result of which the new global price rose to $4,063.
Under the influence of the global market, the price of 24-carat gold per tola in Pakistan’s local bullion markets also increased by Rs9,100 on the fourth business day of the week, bringing the new price to Rs428,736.
Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams at the local level increased by Rs7,802 to Rs367,572.
Meanwhile, in local markets, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs203 to Rs6,445, while the price of silver per 10 grams rose by Rs174 to Rs5,525.
