Iranian Attacks on Saudi Arabia are Unnecessary and Escalate Tensions: Corps Commanders’ Conference

RAWALPINDI (HRNW): The Corps Commanders’ Conference has expressed grave concern over the attacks on petrochemical and industrial complexes in Saudi Arabia, labeling them unnecessary and a catalyst for increased regional tension. The forum noted that such attacks undermine sincere efforts to resolve conflicts in the Middle East.

274th Corps Commanders’ Conference

According to the ISPR, the 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference was presided over by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces.

  • Tribute to Martyrs: The forum offered Fateha for the martyrs of the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and innocent citizens who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the motherland. It was reiterated that these eternal sacrifices form the foundation of Pakistan’s security.

  • Operational Readiness: The Army Chief praised the unwavering professionalism and operational efficiency of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He commended their steadfastness in conducting intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations to defend the nation.

Path Toward Stability

The Field Marshal stated that through the mutual cooperation and harmony of the government, armed forces, and the public, Pakistan is moving toward:

  1. Consolidating security achievements.

  2. Strengthening economic stability.

  3. Improving Pakistan’s standing at both regional and global levels.

Commitment Against Terrorism

The forum resolved that all terrorist proxy elements operating at the behest of India and other external patrons—along with their facilitators and abettors—will be eliminated through continuous and indiscriminate pursuit.
