London (HRNW)- Nobel Peace Prize laureate and social activist Malala Yousafzai has expressed optimism about Pakistan’s future, saying that the country’s youth are actively contributing to national development through modern education and sciences.
Speaking to media after addressing the World Education Forum in London, Malala emphasized the crucial role of women in development. She also highlighted the situation of girls’ education in Palestine, Lebanon, and Afghanistan during the conference.
She said that Palestinian students understand their challenges and potential solutions, while Afghan girls continue to pursue education secretly despite difficult circumstances.
Malala also participated in a roundtable discussion with students and took part in a quiz session. Education ministers from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also attended the event.
Reiterating her message, Malala said Pakistan’s future lies in the hands of its youth, urging them to fully engage in the country’s development through modern and quality education.
