Lahore (HRNW)- President of the Dumper Association, Haji Liaquat Mehsud, has expressed serious concern over the recent increase in the prices of petroleum products. He said that the prices of petroleum products are continuously decreasing in the global market, in such a situation, it was expected that the government would reduce the prices while providing relief to the people, however, on the contrary, it has been increased.
According to him, this decision will not only affect the transport sector but also increase the burden of inflation on the common citizens. He said that the increase in the prices of petroleum products will significantly increase the expenses of dumper owners, which will also have an impact on the prices of essential commodities. Haji Liaquat Mehsud demanded that the government immediately review the decision to increase the prices of petroleum products and provide relief to the public and transporters.
