Karachi (HRNW)- Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi has expressed serious concern over the arrest of Saad Edhi in Israel during a humanitarian relief mission.
The Sindh Governor stated that stopping individuals engaged in humanitarian service goes against international humanitarian values and laws. He said Saad Edhi and his companions were carrying food, medicine, and relief supplies for the Palestinian people.
He added that the arrest of welfare volunteers is an attempt to suppress the spirit of humanitarianism, and urged the international community to take immediate notice and ensure the safe release of the relief workers.
The Governor further said that the Pakistani nation stands firmly with those serving humanity, adding that every voice raised for the Palestinian people represents the voice of humanity.
