Islamabad (HRNW)- Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, while talking to media representatives in Islamabad, informed about the important achievements of his recent visit to China.
He said that a high-level Pakistani delegation visited China from May 13 to 18, 2026, which he led himself, while the delegation also included Gul Mena Bilal.
According to the Education Minister, during the visit, it was agreed to further strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and China in the fields of education, technology and skills. Special attention was paid to the promotion of artificial intelligence (AI), digital education, smart manufacturing, new energy vehicles, IT and modern skills.
As a result of the visit, several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between the two countries, while it was also agreed to launch AI innovation projects and further strengthen educational and technical partnership under CPEC.
He said that both countries have expressed a shared commitment to provide new educational and training opportunities for Pakistani students in the fields of IT, artificial intelligence and engineering.
According to Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, this visit reflects Pakistan’s commitment to modern education, digital development and the development of world-class skills.
