Army Chief Asim Munir Visits Command and Staff College, Reaffirms Resolve Against Terrorism

Rawalpindi (HRNW)- Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison today.

During the visit, he addressed the officers and faculty under training at Command and Staff College Quetta. In his address, the Army Chief appreciated the institution’s high standard of training, academic excellence and professional skills and said that the officers who graduated from this institution have always performed brilliantly.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that modern warfare strategy is changing rapidly, hence officers should pay special attention to new technologies, multi-domain operations and better coordination between the three armed forces. He stressed that officers and men should receive continuous training so that the changing war requirements can be effectively dealt with.

Later, he also met the officers and men of the forces deployed in Balochistan. He said that the armed forces of Pakistan are determined to completely eradicate terrorism from the country with the full support of the people.

The Army Chief said that Pakistan’s progress cannot be stopped by propaganda, fake news or foreign-backed terrorism. He said that all conspiracies working against the country will fail.

He termed a people-centric development strategy, better governance and security measures as essential for lasting peace and stability in Balochistan. On this occasion, he also appreciated the provincial government’s public welfare and socio-economic development initiatives.

At the beginning of the visit, the Army Chief was welcomed by Corps Commander Quetta.
