Karachi (HRNW): Terming the government’s decision to increase petrol prices for the third time in a single month as an “anti-people” move, Afaq Ahmed stated that while the world adopts alternative strategies to facilitate citizens during global oil fluctuations, our rulers are busy snatching the very bread from the mouths of the poor by shifting the entire burden of inflation onto them.
Afaq Ahmed remarked that a smile on the faces of rulers while they deprive the masses of their basic sustenance is poisonous. He appealed to the government and powerful quarters to stop testing the patience of the public and demanded an immediate end to the free fuel privileges enjoyed by the elite class.
