Lahore (HRNW)- A mother arrested for the murder of her three innocent children has been handed over to the police on a five-day physical remand by the court, while shocking facts have come to light during the investigation.
According to the police, this sad incident took place in the Ichhra area of Lahore, where the accused tried to blame her in-laws after brutally killing her three children. However, this drama of the accused was exposed during the investigation.
Initially, the accused tried to mislead the police and gave a confident statement at the scene that her blood pressure had dropped, she locked the house and left, leaving the children alive, and that she did not know how the children were killed. In the video that came to light in this regard, the accused was also seen continuously making excuses.
However, the police say that the accused’s evasion could not last long and after rigorous interrogation, she confessed to her crime. According to the police, the accused revealed that she wanted to divorce her husband Ramzan and marry a man named Yar, a resident of Jhang, with whom she was in daily contact on the phone. She also used to ask him for money through a mobile app, but the children were becoming the biggest obstacle in this new marriage.
According to the police officials, the call data record (CDR) of the accused’s mobile phone has also been obtained, which corroborates her statement. The accused is currently in police custody on a five-day physical remand and further investigation into the incident is underway.
