Mystery Donation Boxes Installed at PIMS Hospital, Administration Launches Inquiry

Islamabad (HRNW)- Donation boxes labeled “Treasure of the Hereafter” have reportedly been installed at the entrance and exit points of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), with hospital officials saying their ownership remains unknown, prompting the administration to initiate an inquiry.

According to reports, thousands of people visit PIMS Hospital every day to seek medical treatment for their loved ones. Many visitors also donate to charitable causes during their visits. However, questions have arisen regarding the unidentified donation boxes placed within the hospital premises, as no official information is available about who installed them or where the collected funds are being used.

The hospital administration has taken notice of the matter and instructed its security staff to investigate the issue.

A senior hospital employee, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the administration had been informed about the donation boxes installed at the hospital’s entrance gates, but no clear explanation has yet been received. He added that the security department has also been alerted, although no conclusive evidence has emerged so far.

Hospital officials stated that the entire PIMS facility is monitored through surveillance cameras to ensure security for the thousands of patients and visitors who use the hospital every day. They also warned that anyone tampering with surveillance equipment, recording security cameras, or violating hospital rules would face strict legal action.
