PM Shehbaz Sharif Pays Tribute to Allama Iqbal, Urges Nation to Follow His Vision

Islamabad (HRNW)- Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in his message on the occasion of Iqbal Day, has said that Allama Iqbal was a great intellectual leader and benefactor of the Muslims of the subcontinent who conveyed the message of self-reliance, action, faith and intellectual freedom. The Prime Minister said that Allama Iqbal’s thoughts created a sense of awareness, self-confidence and continuous struggle in a subjugated nation, which still holds extraordinary importance in national and global situations.

He said that in the present era, challenges such as intellectual chaos, extremism and social intolerance require us to build our individual and collective lives in the light of Iqbal’s thoughts. According to Shahbaz Sharif, Allama Iqbal declared love, brotherhood and national awareness as the purpose of life, and a strong, peaceful and united Pakistan on these principles is our future.

The Prime Minister said that the government is committed to eliminating terrorism, extremism and sectarianism and steps are being taken to establish a moderate and harmonious society. He added that Allama Iqbal paid special attention to the training of the younger generation, and the government also believes that the dream of national development cannot be fulfilled without building education on intellectual, moral and national foundations.
