Goods Transport Alliance Announces 10% Fare Increase After Fuel Price Hike

Lahore (HRNW)- Following the increase in the prices of petroleum products, the Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance has announced an increase in transport fares across the country.

Alliance President Malik Shahzad Awan said in his statement that transporters across Pakistan strongly condemn the increase in the prices of petroleum products as it has significantly increased the cost of doing business.

He announced that following the increase in petrol prices, goods transport fares are being increased by 10 percent, which will be implemented immediately. According to transporters, the rising fuel prices have made it difficult to run businesses, and if the situation continues, they may face further financial pressure.
