Makkah (HRNW)- Security forces in Saudi Arabia’s holy city of Makkah have arrested an Egyptian man and a woman for allegedly defrauding citizens through fake and misleading Hajj service advertisements on social media platforms.
According to authorities, the accused individuals have been handed over to the Public Prosecution after completion of legal formalities. Saudi Public Security has urged citizens and residents to strictly follow Hajj regulations and official government instructions.
Officials further appealed to the public to report any violations immediately by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in all other regions of the Kingdom.
