Report Claims U.S. Defense Stockpiles Strained Amid Ongoing Conflict with Iran

Washington (HRNW)- The ongoing war with Iran has significantly reduced the United States’ important and very expensive defense weapons reserves, which is raising questions about the overall defense readiness of the United States.

The United States has used up a large stockpile of expensive long-range missiles and other advanced defense systems during the ongoing war with Iran. The report states that not only the Middle East but also American weapons reserves in Asia and Europe have been affected during the war, due to which the pressure on American defense capabilities in various regions is increasing.

According to the New York Times, the total US spending on the war with Iran has reached 28 to 35 billion dollars, which is about one billion dollars per day. Experts say that if the war is prolonged, the United States may have to spend more on a large scale to restore its defense reserves. The report also expresses concern that the rapid use of expensive weapons may affect America’s long-term military strategy and global defense responsibilities.
