Washington (HRNW)- White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt has stated that there is no fixed deadline regarding the extension of the ceasefire with Iran. Speaking to the media in Washington, she said that reports suggesting a three-to-five-day timeline are incorrect. According to the World News Agency, the spokesperson noted that internal divisions exist within Iran between hardline and moderate factions over the ceasefire issue. She added that President Donald Trump is awaiting a unified response from the Iranian leadership and has extended the ceasefire to provide an opportunity for flexibility. Leavitt further clarified that while US military operations have been temporarily paused, economic pressure on Iran and the naval blockade will continue. She emphasized that President Trump has not set any final deadline for ending the ceasefire extension and will personally decide when it concludes.
