Iran Rejects Reports of Internal Divisions, Reaffirms Conditions for Talks

Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian presidential spokesman Mehdi Tabatabaei has rejected reports suggesting divisions within the country’s leadership, stating that there is complete unity among Iran’s top officials. He said Iran remains open to negotiations, but only on the basis of “justice, dignity, and wisdom.” Without directly naming US President Donald Trump, Tabatabaei criticized what he described as foreign political propaganda and the spread of false narratives, urging such actors to stop what he called intimidation, broken promises, and deception instead of misinformation. He further clarified that Iran is not opposed to dialogue; however, any talks must be conducted under fair and respectful conditions grounded in the principles outlined by Tehran.
