Iranian Military Prepared for Conflict; Ceasefire Does Not Mean End of War, Says Spokesperson

TEHRAN (HRNW): The spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami Nia, has declared that the country’s military remains in a state of full combat readiness and does not consider the prospect of war to be over. According to Iranian media reports, the General emphasized that despite any temporary ceasefire or quiet on the battlefield, the military has maintained war-level preparations due to a fundamental lack of trust in the United States and other adversaries. He stated that new strategic objectives have already been defined since the day active hostilities paused. The spokesperson further warned that any resumption of conflict would be met with a decisive and effective response, as all military units are prepared for every possible scenario. He added that units were fully mobilized based on intelligence assessments prior to the current situation, and defensive strategies are being continuously updated to ensure a timely and powerful reaction to any emerging threats.
