Washington (HRNW)- Iranian-American Congresswoman Yasmin Ansari has revealed that she is receiving serious threats after speaking out against a war against Iran. According to Yasmin Ansari, not only she but also her family and staff are facing harassment and threats. She said that false information is being spread against her on social media and even fake images created with artificial intelligence (AI) are circulating.
She further said that baseless claims are also being made about her that she and her parents are not American citizens, which is a complete lie and misleading propaganda. The Congresswoman said that despite this pressure, she will continue to raise her voice against the war-related policies of the US President and Secretary of Defense and no threat can stop her from speaking the truth. Yasmin Ansari demanded that elected representatives and their families be protected and strict action be taken against those spreading false information.
