Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai has stated that Iran currently has no plans to hold a new round of talks with the United States, as diplomatic progress remains stalled. According to him, there has been no meaningful advancement toward direct negotiations with Washington in the current situation. Baqai accused the United States of failing to demonstrate seriousness in the diplomatic process, adding that it has also violated the ceasefire, which Iran has reportedly communicated to mediator Pakistan. He further noted that ongoing differences between Tehran and Washington continue to block any possibility of immediate talks. Political observers believe that rising tensions between Iran and the United States, including maritime disputes, the naval blockade issue, and concerns over Iran’s nuclear program, have further complicated the negotiation process. Experts warn that unless tensions ease, the resumption of talks will remain unlikely in the near future, potentially affecting broader regional stability.
