Iran Accuses US and Israel of Creating Instability in Global Energy Corridors

Tehran (HRNW)- The Iranian Foreign Ministry has accused the United States and Israel of deliberately creating instability in key global energy corridors and then blaming Iran for the resulting tensions.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghai said that claims by the US and Israel about maintaining peace and stability in global energy markets are “completely false” and are being used to justify what he described as an illegal war against Iran.

He further stated that the “belligerent policies” of Washington and Tel Aviv have damaged diplomatic efforts and deliberately created instability in strategic energy routes through unjustified military actions against Iran, after which Iran is unfairly blamed for regional instability. He compared this approach to Nazi-era propaganda tactics, quoting Joseph Goebbels: “Blame others for what you do yourself.”

Baghai added that under what he described as the traditional strategy of the US and Israel, crises are first created, then escalated into conflict, and later justified as efforts to restore peace and stability. He also referenced the Roman historian Tacitus, saying they “create destruction and call it peace.”
