Peshawar (HRNW)- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Member Arbab Muhammad Usman Khan has sent a formal letter to the Auditor General of Pakistan, demanding a comprehensive audit of the provincial government’s financial and administrative affairs.
In the letter, the MPA requested a detailed audit of development funds, government procurement, the performance of government departments, and the delivery of public services. He also expressed concerns over alleged budget irregularities, the release of additional grants, delays in development projects, and issues related to financial discipline.
Arbab Muhammad Usman Khan called for a thorough review of the performance of provincial departments to ensure the transparent and effective use of taxpayers’ money.
The letter further suggested that the comprehensive audit process begin in Peshawar, stating that such an initiative would promote financial transparency, accountability, and public confidence in government institutions.
The MPA appealed to the Auditor General of Pakistan to initiate the necessary action at the earliest to further strengthen transparency and accountability in the financial affairs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
