Lahore (HRNW)- In a welcome development for citizens troubled by intense heat, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain and thunderstorms across Punjab, including Lahore.
According to the Met Office, a new weather system carrying strong winds and rain is moving towards Pakistan and is expected to enter the country on May 19.
The department stated that thunderstorms and rainfall are likely in most districts of Punjab, including Lahore, from May 19 to May 22, which may provide relief from the ongoing hot weather conditions.
However, temperatures are expected to remain high before the arrival of the rain system, with the minimum temperature in Lahore likely to exceed 27 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature expected to cross 40 degrees Celsius.
