Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu Says No Compromise on Sovereignty, PAF Ready to Respond to Any Aggression

Islamabad (HRNW)- Pakistan Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu said that Pakistan is a supporter of peace but there will be no compromise on sovereignty.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, Pakistan Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu said that Pakistan is a responsible and peace-loving country, however, those who challenge our sovereignty have always misjudged it, to which the Pakistan Air Force has given a befitting reply every time.

The Air Chief said that the enemy had tried to target Pakistan’s security in the dark seven years ago, to which the Pakistan Air Force gave a befitting reply in broad daylight and destroyed the enemy’s intentions.

Referring to “Battle of Haq”, he said that for the first time, the Pakistan Air Force successfully carried out full multi-domain operations, during which modern enemy aircraft like Rafale, Sukhoi 30, Mirage 2000 and MiG-29 were shot down and bases and ground assets located far inside the enemy’s territory were targeted.

The Air Chief revealed that the enemy’s most advanced S-400 air defense system and their command and control centers were also completely disabled in this operation.

He added that despite financial pressure, the Pakistan Air Force is moving towards innovation, which includes acquiring unmanned systems, electronic warfare, space and cyber assets. The establishment of an indigenously developed ‘multi-domain kill chain’ is a major milestone in the air force’s defensive capabilities.
