Karachi (HRNW)- In connection with the arrival of Muharram, Chairman Mangopir Town Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi visited various Imambargahs and reviewed the arrangements made on the routes of processions and gatherings. During the visit, he especially met Shia scholars, listened to their advice and assured them that the town administration would provide all possible cooperation during this holy month.
Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, while giving instructions to the staff and local government officers present on the spot, said that “not even the slightest negligence will be tolerated during Muharram.” He especially emphasized on cleanliness, lighting, drainage and timely drainage of rainwater. He said that all facilities should be ensured on the procession routes, Imambargahs and their surrounding areas so that the mourners do not face any inconvenience.
Chairman Mangopir Town Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi said that immediate response in case of rain and cleaning of drains and gutters should be ensured. He directed the water board, local bodies, sanitation staff and other concerned departments to remain alert and said that he himself is also monitoring all the matters.
“Our Shia community is a proud part of Mangopir Town. The sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions are a symbol of humanity, truth, justice and truth. In these days, we have to show patience, tolerance and brotherhood.” He added that people of all schools of thought live in brotherhood and harmony in Mangopir Town, and we want this atmosphere to be maintained during Muharram as well.
Finally, Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi appealed to all institutions, local volunteers, scholars and citizens to cooperate with each other and report any issue immediately so that it can be resolved in a timely manner. He said that “Muharram is a month of worship, devotion and awareness, we have to spend it with peace, unity and discipline.
