Federal Government Directs Job Appointments for Children of Deceased Employees Under Supreme Court Ruling

Islamabad (HRNW) – The Federal Government has directed all relevant departments to implement the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s decision regarding employment for the children of deceased federal government employees.

According to the directive, one son or daughter of a federal government employee who passed away before 18 October 2024 will be eligible for appointment in government service in accordance with the Supreme Court’s ruling.

The instructions require ministries, divisions, and subordinate offices to process such cases in line with the Court’s judgment and the applicable government procedures.

The directive aims to ensure uniform implementation of the Supreme Court’s decision concerning compassionate appointments for the families of deceased federal employees whose deaths occurred before the specified cut-off date.

Further procedural details and eligibility requirements are expected to be communicated by the relevant government authorities to facilitate implementation.
