Federal Government Releases Rs264 Million for Bhong Interchange Project on Multan-Sukkur Motorway

Islamabad (HRNW)- Important progress has been made regarding the construction of the Bhong Interchange on the Multan-Sukkur Motorway after the federal government released funds for the project during proceedings in the High Court.

During the hearing, the Ministry of Communications informed the court that the federal government has released Rs 264 million for the construction of the interchange. The lawyer representing the National Highway Authority (NHA) also confirmed the release of the funds.

The case was heard by Justice Muhammad Asif. Petitioner Raees Munir appeared before the court along with his counsel Waqar Rana, while legal representatives of the Ministry of Communications and NHA were also present.

During the proceedings, petitioner’s lawyer Waqar Rana requested the court to keep the matter pending, while the Ministry of Communications requested the disposal of the case following the release of funds.

After hearing the arguments, the court directed that the matter remain adjourned and postponed further proceedings until the last week of June.
