According to police officials, now the complete record and data of taxi drivers will be available with the police, which will help ensure the safety of passengers. The aim of this move is to prevent crime and provide a safe travel environment for passengers, especially women and children.
Officials say that under the new security system, unverified drivers will not be allowed to operate online taxi services, while strict action will be taken in case of violation.
