London (HRNW)- Britain is facing one storm after another. Storm Chandra, which will hit the UK today, will bring strong winds and rain with it.
This will be the third storm to hit the UK this year. Due to Storm Chandra, life is likely to be affected in most parts of the country. There is a possibility of heavy rain with strong winds in Northern Ireland, southwest and southeast England and Wales. There is also a risk of damage to buildings, falling trees and power outages due to strong winds.
Snow warnings have been issued in 27 areas of the UK due to Storm Chandra. It is expected that this storm will disrupt normal life across the country. These warnings have come at a time when the UK has been facing continuous bad weather conditions since the beginning of the year.
The next severe snow storm (called a snow bomb) in the UK is going to cause up to 6 inches of snow per hour, which is expected to start tomorrow. During this time, some areas of West and North Yorkshire, particularly higher ground, will be covered in a thick layer of snow.
