Doha (HRNW)- Technical-level talks between the United States and Iran have officially begun in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

According to Arab media, experts from both countries are discussing various important issues, but there is no plan for a direct meeting between top officials of the two countries at this stage.

According to sources, the aim of the talks is to advance the implementation of the recent memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran and to make progress on various technical issues.

According to reports, at least three separate working groups have been established in Doha, which are holding detailed discussions on various areas.

The first working group is reviewing Iran’s nuclear program and related technical issues, while the second group is considering diplomatic matters, contacts and the future negotiation framework.

The third working group is discussing issues related to Iran’s frozen financial assets abroad, the return of funds and possible financial arrangements.

Sources say that although the talks are ongoing at a technical level, no direct meeting between the foreign ministers or top political leaders of the two countries has been scheduled at present.

According to political observers, these talks are part of confidence-building efforts between the two countries. If there is positive progress in the technical talks, the path to high-level talks in the future may be paved.

Experts say that these talks in Doha are important not only for Iran-US relations but also for the overall security, economic stability and global energy markets of the Middle East.
