KARACHI / TAFTAN (HRNW) – The family of Yasir Khan, a young man from Karachi who lost his life in a recent missile strike in Iran, has reached the Taftan border to receive his body. Efforts are underway to complete the legal and administrative formalities required for repatriation.
Family’s Struggle and Presence at the Border
The victim’s brother, Wajid Khan, confirmed that family members are currently stationed at the Taftan border. They are working closely with authorities to finalize the necessary documentation to bring Yasir’s remains back to Pakistan as quickly as possible. The family is in deep shock and has appealed for the swift completion of all procedural requirements.

The Edhi Foundation, known for its humanitarian services, has finalized all arrangements for the transportation of the body:

Ambulance Services: Dedicated vehicles and staff are on standby at the border to receive the remains.

Repatriation to Karachi: Once the legal handover is completed by the Iranian authorities to the Pakistani officials, the Edhi Foundation will transport the body directly to Karachi.
