Petrol at Rs416 Per Liter Sparks Public Criticism, Relief Demands Intensify

Islamabad (HRNW)- After the price of petrol reached Rs 416 per liter, the government’s statements have once again come under public criticism. A statement is circulating on social media in which it is said that when even one rupee increases, the hearts of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif cry, however, after the recent increase, serious questions are being raised by the public on this statement.

Critics say that the continuous increase in the prices of petroleum products has further intensified the inflation storm, the direct burden of which is falling on the common citizen. The problems of the people have increased due to the increase in the cost of transport, food items and daily necessities.

According to public circles, if the rulers are truly concerned about the public’s problems, then this should be demonstrated in the form of price reductions and relief measures. Mere statements will not solve the public’s problems. Political observers say that in the current situation, the government will have to take immediate and concrete economic decisions to restore public confidence, otherwise public unrest may increase further.
