Karachi (HRNW) – Police in Keamari District successfully foiled a robbery attempt during a swift operation in the Saeedabad police jurisdiction, according to a police spokesperson.
The incident took place in Sector 9-C, where two armed motorcyclists allegedly entered a confectionery shop and began looting cash and valuables.
Police said that a patrolling team reached the scene promptly after receiving information about the robbery. With the assistance of local residents, officers pursued the suspects and managed to apprehend one of them, while the second suspect managed to escape from the scene.
The arrested suspect was identified as Rahat, while the fugitive was identified as Idris, according to police records.
A motorcycle reportedly used by the suspects, a Honda 125, was also recovered from the possession of the arrested individual.
Police officials confirmed that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway to trace and arrest the remaining suspect and determine whether the accused group is involved in other similar crimes in the area.
