Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has strongly criticized the United States, saying that whenever matters move towards a diplomatic solution, the United States starts a dangerous military campaign at the same time, which further worsens the situation. He described this behavior of the United States as a bad strategy.
Iran is likely to receive a response to the new US proposal for a ceasefire today, which is expected to end the ongoing tension. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that Iran’s response could be received at any time today, and if it includes a concrete plan of action, serious progress will be made on it.
Meanwhile, Abbas Araqchi’s latest social media post has raised concerns that tensions in the Strait of Hormuz will increase instead of decreasing. He said in his statement on ‘X’ that whenever diplomacy is close to success, the US launches dangerous military operations. The Iranian Foreign Minister questioned whether this is not the work of a saboteur, namely Israel, which is once again pushing the US president into a new quagmire. He said that whatever the reason, the result is always the same and that is that the Iranian nation never bows to pressure.
Abbas Araqchi also rejected the CIA’s report on Iran’s missile stockpiles. He said that the capacity of Iran’s missile stockpiles and launchers is not 75% compared to March 31, but 120%. It should be noted that last night, US forces bombed military bases in Iran, while clashes between Iranian and US forces continued in the Strait of Hormuz, which has further increased tensions in the region.
