Kerosene Oil Price Hiked by Rs 4.66; Petrol and Diesel Rates Remain Unchanged

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – The government has announced an increase in the price of kerosene oil by Rs 4.66 per liter, citing the rising cost of oil in the global market. Following this adjustment, the new price of kerosene oil has reached Rs 433.40 per liter, effective immediately.

While kerosene prices saw an upward trend, the government decided to maintain the current prices of other petroleum products. The price of petrol remains at Rs 321.17 per liter, while high-speed diesel stays at Rs 335.86 per liter.

According to the official notification, the government will continue to provide Price Differential Claims (PDC) to oil marketing companies to absorb the impact of international price fluctuations. Specifically, the government will pay Rs 95.59 per liter on petrol and Rs 203.88 per liter on diesel as PDC to ensure price stability for the general public.
