Jerusalem (HRNW)- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has once again received interim relief in ongoing corruption cases after a court unexpectedly postponed his scheduled hearing without providing a clear public reason. According to reports, the hearing was set for Monday, during which Netanyahu was expected to record his statement, but the proceedings were delayed shortly before they were due to begin.

Israeli media outlets reported that the postponement followed the submission of new information by Netanyahu’s legal team late at night, though the details have not been disclosed. A local television channel stated that the sudden delay has granted the Prime Minister temporary relief in the long-running legal proceedings. Netanyahu is currently facing three separate corruption cases, which have been ongoing since 2019 and have seen multiple delays over time.

Officials note that previous postponements have been linked to security concerns and regional conflicts, including the recent Iran–Israel tensions, which have also affected court proceedings. Netanyahu last appeared in court on April 28, marking his first appearance since the escalation of conflict with Iran. Legal experts suggest that repeated delays could further extend the timeline for a final verdict in the cases.
