Islamabad (HRNW)- President of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, arrived in Pakistan on an official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
His aircraft landed at Nur Khan Air Base, where he was received by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
This marks Dr. Pezeshkian’s second visit to Pakistan since assuming the office of President of Iran.
During his visit, the Iranian President is scheduled to hold separate meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss bilateral relations, regional developments, and areas of mutual cooperation.
Dr. Pezeshkian will also meet Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, the Chairman of the Senate, and the Speaker of the National Assembly as part of his official engagements.
The visit is expected to further strengthen diplomatic, economic, and strategic ties between Pakistan and Iran.
